has anyone used cabelas tc-w3 signature oil in their outboards?if so, what do you think of it . i run a yamaha motor and am sick of the price my dealer is charging for yamaha lube oil .is there a big difference in tc-w3 oils?he is the only yamaha dealer in my area. thank you

I've used it before. I tried it to cut down on the smoke from my 2 stroke kicker. I sure didn't notice any difference. Smoked just like always, and my 15 horse would hardly idle using it.I guess it doesn't like synthetic oil. I recommend that you try to buy Yamaha oil in bulk from your dealer. Most dealers sell it that way if you bring your own jug. I pay less than 10 dollars a gallon for Merc Premium Plus from my dealer. Just keep reusing the jugs it originally came in.
