I have an older 1700 Pro V Deluxe that has soft spots in the floor. I am thinking of replacing the floor and carpeting. Has anyone done this? How hard is it to do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Lund had a few problems with the wood in roughly 90 & 91 boats. Make sure you have your transom checked too while you're at it.
You should just call the factory or have your dealer arrange to get the boat back to Lund. I just had a buddy redo a 1990 1800, they put in a new floor, fixed some of the electrical stuff, repainted the outside from the water line up, repainted the gunnel tops, applied new decals, repaired some other minor things, checked it over thoroughly, and it was $1,300. He had priced a couple of dealers who wanted $2,500 for the same work. His boat looks 85% brand new from the water up. It took a month for them to "turn it around".
Good Luck.

Depending on how handy you are, you could do it yourself too. Before I could afford a brand new boat, I had to buy used boats. I've re-done floors & decks even livewells on three different boats. I actually had fun doing it too.
