When i turn it on i get a E05 error. the blade runs but it will not steer. Do i need to send it back to factory, or Is their some thing i need to do? To make it turn.

I think I had this exact problem. Turns out I didn't have it hooked up to 24 volts. I think e05 is a power error so double check your wiring and batteries.

Call Pinpoint customer service at 1 800-474-7550. If it can be resolved without sending it in, they will let you know.

I think I had the code 4 come up on mine. 12 volts are enough to run the finder but not the trolling motor. In your book on the trolling motor it says, Turn it off then back on if the error EO5 or EO1 returns, call the factory. EO4 or EO7 indicates too little or to much voltage. Hope this helps. Craig
