I'm thinking of buying a Zercom LPG-2000, are all of the bugs out of this unit? For those of you who own one are they reliable? Is the transducer and speed and temperature all one unit?

We've been running this unit all last year, and we swear by it's performance. The detail in the display is simply unmatched. With 16 shades of gray-scale the definition is unbelievable. (we can see an 1/8 oz. jig go up and down the screen, and we are shooting through the hull w/ transducer.) We were given this unit to use by a sponsor, and ended up buying it, we loved it so much. And yes, speed and temp. are included in the unit. I will sa the only draw-back we've encountered, is that we "out-run" it at about 45 mph.; but then again, because ours was initially a loaner,we mounted the transducer through-hull. but if you purchase this unit, I know you will love it, it's second to none, IMHO. P.S. if your looking for a good deal, try my sponsor , Skippers' Choice Marine Supply @ www.everythingforboats.com
