Great site, great info. Now I need some info on drift socks. Thinking about the one advertised on this site under affordable drift socks. Worth the price or cheap product? I have a 1578 Lakeland does a 20 inch sound right, never used one yet.

If you go to the top of the board and click on "search" you can do a search on all posts. Do a search on the keyword "drift" in "all forums" in the "subject" line for the past "3 months". You will get a few posts that had several replies.

Hope this helps.

Primo, I market Drift Brakes for a local company. We sell 24", 36" and 48". The majority of fisherpeople in this area fish the windswept waters of Lake Sakakawea, ND. My personal opinion is to have one of each size, to match the conditions. If you plan to carry just one; boats under 15'- 24", 15' to 16'-36", over 16'-48". Good fishing!!!

The Wave Tamer is the best drift sock on the market. They have done extensive testing of this product and it will last for years. Contact JNB Originals at 507-629-3969.

Take a look at the Wavetamer....www.driftbag.com
Best bag made--eliminates all the problems commonly found with driftbags. It opens immediatley when it hits the water, it floats and doesn't spin in the water so lines don't get tangled. Check 'em out--you'll be glad you did.

I'm with Mongo. You don't know what you've been missing until you use a Wave Tamer bag.
