You can get a great set of maps by ordering from the Corps of Engineers..Address for St. Paul office follows:

It is in tablet form and shows the channels, boat ramps, backwaters, you name it and it's in there..Even shows the gravel pits and some of the roads as well..Hope that this helps you out...I don't go on the River without it..
