1800 Pro V IFS

Currently have a 99 1800 pro V SE, looking at the IFS for cold and rainy weather. Does the windshield and top get in the way?
I do quite a lot of bass fishing in the summer, will I have problems casting? Thanks for your opinion.

I don't think that you will have many problems with the windshield getting in the way of fishing. I fish Devils Lake for walleyes, and I cast cranks into the shallows quite often, and have relatively few problems with it getting into the way. They are rreally nice in colder weather and in the wind. The only problem is that extended runs in rough water will tend to loosen some of the screws, replace those with bolts and you should be good to go.
