I'm going to Gander Mountain to load up my arsenal on Walleye tackle for opening day Sat. I always use Gamagatsu circle hooks usually red and some of fluoresent colors.
I was wondering what colors are "good"?
Anybody try the glow in the dark ones?
Thanks in advance.

I use several colors of gamakatsu and I feel they make a difference. I like to use blue on northern Minnesota lakes and sometimes green. I've had success using the glow in the dark hooks for crappies and ocassionaly walleyes.
I have alot of experience with the Gamakatsu colored hooks on crawler harness rigs and live bait rigs.
They seem to work great during what seems to be inactive periods ini the bite.
I've switched from the normal red Gamakatsu hooks I use to say the Green's, blue's, or glows when the bite has slowed to about nothing and picked up those last couple fish.
The color I would say is going to be somewhat a personal preference and determined by trial and error. All bodies of water are different, and thus the bite will be.
I'd say start with the Green's or Glow's first though, those seem to be the most consistant for me.
Good luck and good fishing,
