I have a livewell recirc pump for the front livewell that is not working. Does someone know the best way to access the pump to replace it? It is a 1993 with a separate pump for both live wells to recirculate and a separate common aerator to fill the live wells. I have tried to remove the floor over the livewell, but the floor is tied into the sides, so I can't lift it up. Any ideas on how to get at it would be greatly appreciated.

I have replaced both live well pumps on my 94 1775 pro-V tiller. The access panel is on the floor in the center of the boat. Both live well pumps live under there. It is the small square that is on the lowest part of the floor next to the vertical rise that holds up the casting platform. The large square in the center that runs from the back of the boat to almost the start of the platform is the fuel tank and the live well access panel is right in front of that.
The replacement of the second pump took about half the time as the first. It is not easy to work in the space provided but you will learn some tricks as you go.
The 93 may be different, I needed to look in the manual.
Good luck and let me know if I can be of more help.

I just replaced my bilge pump and both rear aereators in the stern. There is another one for recirculating attached to the livewell on the port side that is probably only accessable by removing the panels iin the floor, however I know it sounds strange but take the speaker out on the port side and look in there first see what you can. I have not done this but it is what I would try. I would like to know what you did so I know what to do when mine goes out.You get alot of bruises but it saves $ for fishing stuff. Bill.
