Was wondering if anybody hung around long enough at Greg Bohn's auction on Saturday to see his walleye crankbaits (Tsticks, etc.) get auctioned off? Wondering if they all went and for what kind of price.

I didn't stay long enough but if they went for anything close to what was being bid for other things you can bet they sold at retail or a little above

From what I know and I hope it's all correct, he sold his Stinger business out to Lindy. The bank next door wanted his lot so Greg sold the whole business to them. The bank then auctioned everything off last Saturday. He plans on getting into more promotional activities I guess. I hung around till 4:00 PM and there was alot more things to auction off. Alot of things did go for a pretty good buck. His Leachsticks with a Shimano Sedona reel starting going at $95 and by the time the last one was sold there were up to $145. Retail for those in the shop were around $165. So if you bought the last one it wasn't such a great deal. The only way I found out about the auction was through a buddy that went through Minocqua last week. Otherwise I would have never known either.

Everything went. There wasn't even a shelf left. From what I understand, a friend of mine helped with the auction, the crankbaits went for at least retail or above.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I didn't miss out on a "great" deal. I agree alot of stuff went pretty high.
