Use Microsoft Excel, I have a similar log of my own and the nice thing is you can average things and make charts and graphs there is a lot you can do with it.

Take a look at Lake Master by Waypoint Technologies at lakemap.com. I think it has many features, including ways to search by many topics, including GPS information.

I bought a computer program fromhttp://www.delorme.com/
They are on dics and as you move your mouse; it show you the GPS
co-ordinates at that point on your map. You can transfer these numbers to your boat GPS or bring them in and draw them on your map and save them for future reference. You must get the dics for your area. You can ZOOM in on your own house if you want to.
You can also look at it in 3D if you download {Direct X 7} or
what ever # they are on now. They are neet.

try fishermans guide by normad. web page http://www.vendal.se/fg.html , if the page is still there, the soft ware looked great I just haven't got around to ordering it yet was hoping to find it in the stores. it would even make predictions of the lake you where going to fish for the time of year and conditions based on your past entries. and you can graf charts, has alot of other features you can set some of your own paramaters for charts.

I own the lakemaster software-- its the best. You can log every spot on the lake with waypoints attached, view any spot on the lake with contours, print any spot on the lake. It's by far the best software package I've seen out there and used

The easiest software to search on that I have found is FishNet Computer Software. Check out their chat on Walleye Central April
