solar chargers

Anybody have luck w/ the solar powered battery charges sold in Cabela's? I have to keep my boat away from any power source this year and was wondering if these things would recharge a 24v trolling system in a week's time.

A very good friend of mine uses one to recharge a 12 Volt (Single 31 group size) battery. He uses the trolling motor exclusivle. (No outboard, small lake up north)

Worked great all summer. In fact, the unit was wrecked in a hail storm and he went out and bought another.

He's got the 15 amp unit.
