I can,t find the right prop for both max speed & RPM range boat weighs appro. 1400lbs.
Give a Merc Hi Five in either 19" or 21" a try. You won't set any speed records, but it will go plenty fast and handle better than any other, and have hole shot to die for.
I'm told a LaserII with ALL vents plugged is good prop for that type setup, but our experience with LAserII was that it wasn't that good for our boat, an 18' alum.
Try getting three or four props (like two different models in 19" and 21", I'd suggest a three bladed and the Hi Five, so you can see handling and speed differences first hand) from a dealer to try out on same day. You should be able to narrow it down pretty quick.

Did you run a Mercury Trophy Plus 21p yet? You might give this prop a try, four blades, nice top end and great hook-up in rougher water.
