Looking for splash gaurds for 2000, 1700 Lund angler. Talked to dealer but they want close to $400 for a set with openings for main motor and kicker. A bit rich for me - anyone know of other options?

Walleye Masters makes an excellent splash guard and generally are cheaper than most other brands. Call Wayne at (218) 943-6221 and tell him Rick told you to give him a call and get pricing on guards.

Wavewackers for my Pro-V 1775 were $249 + shipping. I have the cutout for the trolling motor but no kicker. $400 must be the installed price. That seems even high for that.
If you have the slightest of mechanical ability, wavewackers are the best on the market and easy to install. I will never use another brand. The website to look at them is www.wavewackers.com. Their phone number is there and they will custom fit your boat. Give them a call.
I just installed a set of Whitecap splashguards on my 2001 pro-v 2025 for less than $200. www.whitecapmfg.com
for the money whitecap splashguards are hard to beat. me and my buddy have them on our boats and are happy with them. They are made out of 1/4" smoked polycarbonate like the others and fit well. arrived very quik too.
I got my Splashguards from Whitecap. I was very satisfied with them, and the price too. They are a great product and they have top notch service. Check out there web site at
