Quantum Reels

Has any one here had problems with Quantum/Zebco.i have owned Quantum reels for close to ten years and have been fairly satisfied with there performance,especially with the old energy reels with aluminum frames,just bought two of the new energies about a month ago and have never had such a run around with any thing i have had with quantum,so i have started to replace all my reels with Shimano,and so far wish i had done this years ago,these reels are fantastic,well soory to make this so long,just wanted to know if anyone else was dissatisfied like i am with Quantum . I too am unhappy with my E5-2's. All four of them.

I bought a lower grade SX3 about 2 years ago and for the money it was an excellant reel I've never had any problems with it and I am pretty hard on fishing equipment. Just recently I bought another one and what a mess I thought maybe it was just that I got a defective one but I exchanged it and same thing what a mess, a friend of mine bought one when I did and he's pretty upset too. Now I can see maybe 1 bad reel or even 2 but 3 c'mon what's up. I know it's not like we spent a fortune on them but I kind of expected a little better Quality.
