I have a Lund 1800 Fisherman with a 175 Optimax that I will be putting in the water shortly. I would like to hear from any owners of the same of what prop your using on your motor...Thanks

What prop did your dealer put on it?
The best performing prop should have been figured into the price of the boat and put on the boat package you pick it up from the dealer!
The prop is a very important part of the package, after all.

don't trust the dealer... get second opinions like you are. I recently bought a 1650 lund with a 50 mercury 4 st in . They put a 17 pitch prop on. i questioned the service manager and he told me it was the right one. Well it was like driving a barge with 3 people in it. would barely plane. i got help here and by calling Mercury who told me I should have on a 13 or 14 pitch. The dealer really screwed up. Now they tell me they can't see me till the 27th to fix their mistake and i have the boat docked with no hitch on my car. I'll have to find someone to pull it and fix it myself. Moral of the story don't trust the dealer. I think your engine willl be around a 17 pitch.. which is what they put on my 50 hp engine.
I have that exact boat and motor combo. I have a SS Merc Mirage Plus, 21 pitch, 3 blade. Gets right out of the hole, 5400 rpm at WOT, 54mph according to the GPS. I'm not saying that this is the ultimate prop for this boat, but it does seem to be working pretty well. I'm wondering how a 4 blade would run...
I did raise the motor one hole up, it was originally mounted all the way down, she steers much better now.

I have an 1800 with a 135 Opti and a 19P. I'm guessing that a 21P will be pretty close for yours. I tried a 21, but the hole shot suffered and I could only get about 5200 rpm's on the high end. I lost top end going to the 19, but overall am much more satisfied with the performance.

I would bet a 21P Mirage will be the one.
(But, I am a dealer ;-).....LOL)

Yes, the boat is Brand New, and it does come with a prop. I just wanted to know what everybody else is using with this setup.
I do respect everyones opinion and have outfitted the boat with everyones help. I think, I drove the Lund dealer crazy by changing my mind (up grade) the motor from 125 Merc. to 175 Opti. & upgrade to an Eagle Custom trailer, went with a 3 bank charger. But the only thing that I goof-up on was I didn't get the hydraulic steering. I found out that I could get it later from reading about it here on this forum...Thanks Guys Glen
I did go with a 24 volt Minn Kota Max. 74 lbs. 62" shaft bow troller. See I'am learning.
