Right now, jigs and slipbobbers up shallow. Another good technique is casting cranks in the shallow bays, like behind Manhatten island. Water is high right now, so look out for submerged rock piles. Mallard point area can be good, as well as fishing around the islands. Shallow water with structure will most likely be productive. Contact Jim or Donna at Schmidts landing. Start out by flipping small(1/16)jigs up along rocky and wooded shorelines. Swim the jig back. The small cranks can also be productive. Last weekend fish were coming very tight to shore. If they aren't there keep moving out til you make contact. Sometimes in the middle of the channel. Good Luck.
