I used RAM Rod Holders last year with side mounts and I'm thinking about using the RAM flush mounts this year. I have not been able to find a flush mount in a store up here so it looks like Cabela's or BPS again. I'd like some comments from anyone who has used the RAM flush mounts. Are they as durable as the sidemounts, how were the water plugs, etc. Thanks, JC

I used them last year, and thought they worked well. I used them for inline board rods, 3 way rigging, and straight line trolling and didn't have any trouble with them. They seem a little sloppy in the mount, but didn't have any trouble. The cover is tight so there isn't any water that got in, and they are very low profile so they are out of the way. I like them.

Thanks TBO. Is the plug water attached in some way? I can't find their web site to see a picture. JC

Yes, the plug is attached. I am not sure where you would see a picture of one.
