Got a close look and tour of the new Tracker Tundra today. It's in the Bass Pro store in N.Ill....Holy Mole!
I am not easily impressed but this boat is laid out very nicely. I have to say in all honesty that I am not crazy about the 1957 Chevy "swoopy sides" look but as a total package it's neat. I am by far not an expert so I could have been convinced that it was a glass boat. I couldn't tell the difference. I gotta' tell you, I have seen some negative postings about this boat...if someone can be negative about the new Tracker Tundra...it has to be some pre-concieved feelings about Trackers not because the Tundra isn't the most innovative solid looking boat since they started making Aluminum boats.

Okay Gang........be nice........ :P

Hey Kelp,

I saw the boat at Gurnee as well. I agree with you in almost all aspects of your post. Although I am not totally crazy about the layout. But then I am a jig fisherman and would like a bigger front deck.

Like the boat or not, and even if you run a different brand (Ranger) (sorry, shameless plug ;-) )like me, you have to admit one thing. They have definately raised the bar on aluminum boat technology. Personally, I think there is room to improve on several minor things, but the overall product is pretty impressive.

Have fun........R

I'm not a huge fan of that boat, I think its more designed to catch the eye than practicality. The Tracker Targa is a much more fishable machine.
Just my 2cents.
