Wild Bill:
I have a 1998 692 which is pretty similar to the 619. I got a bimini top from Cabelas and installed it on my Ranger. They come in various widths and heights. I am 5'7" and can stand up with head room to spare. I got the 3 bow 6' long top which covers most of the cockpit area but still leaves open space at the back of the boat so you can get a rod out of the downriggers without the top getting in your way. The top also stows nicely to the rear of the boat.
Also, FYI, a friend has a 690 with a dealer-installed top that came from Ranger. My top is the same quality (hardware and fabric) as his 'Ranger' top but cost about half.
Good fishing.

My buddy who has a 690 with the Ranger factory bimini top....it's the same as mine...he can stand up under it and he is about 5'11". Most of the tops come with various length bows and I actually cut about 6" off mine to lower the thing.

You will have no trouble standing under this top if you order it from Ranger Boats. I have a 620 and it is tall, sturdy and even covers the rear seats when a 3rd buddy is along. It is not inexpensive but is well worth the money. Once used in a rain situation or even a cold windy day it will pay for itself. I say go for it and enjoy. It also keeps the heat and sun off you on a really hot day. Good Luck!!

I looked at one that was just installed today at Moritz Sport & Marine in Bismarck ND - it was on a 619, and one of the salesmen, who I'd guess at about your height (6'2") cleared with room to spare - it looks like the clear ticket on a rainy or snowy day.
