Reconditioned Electrics ?

Old MN-Kota 4hsp electric is getting tired. I was wondering if there are any Factory Reconditioned 24 volt motors available any more ? Maybe even a used one thats in good shape. I know at one time Reeds in Walker used to sell them. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Just go to the Sponsor links, on the boats and motors setion there. You will find an ad from Foster's. He deals in Factory reconditioned and used motors. Several here have given his service rave reviews.

Bought a reconditioned Maxum 24 volt 74 lb thrust a little a year ago from www.trollnmotors.com in Louisiana. Have had no trouble with it at all and saved over a hundred bucks over a new one.

The warranty period is not as long as the original, six months if I remember correctly.
