Another post and current news ("racial" profiling) prompted me to think of a fisherman profile. Here goes:
The "fisherman" is 1) male, 2) white, 3) married, or divorced, 4) wage-earner, not salaried, 5) smokes tobacco, 6) drinks alcoholic beverages, 7) professes religious belief but not a regular church-goer, 8) believes he can repair most or many mechanical objects, 9) owns or is buying a boat, 10) seeks bass more than any other species, 11) believes his values are true "American" values, 12) votes less frequently than he should, 13) likes Charlton Heston movies, 14) likes Charlton Heston, 14) respects those who "made it big" 15) likes stock car racing, 15) likes snomobilies and ATVs, 16) distrusts envrionmentalists....
and??

Heheh... I didn't want my dirty worm gut nails on tv. Women and cross dressers have that option. ;-)

In my younger years the drink was a brew or two, but never in the boat. Now it is drink (gatoraide/iced tea/water) like fish and (more accurately) look like a photographig negative of a raccoon. ;D

curt will like this knowing the area.
like we said after leaving Shorty's bar in Gully, MN after a toot "I stayed so long they made the road home into a 4 lane freeway."
or
"The only time I was on the road is when I crossed it"
ready for fishin'. the countdown is on.

Only human beings that smell like a fish -before- they pass on into the big pond in the sky.

don't forget. never has money for food and clothes, but has every new fishing item made or that is knowen to mankind.in some extream's has more tackle tham the local bait shop.
Has one friend that has a bait shop .2. hate's jet ski's.3 hate's golf .4 gets excited about when the wind starts to blow.(walleye fisherman)5 trys not to run over nightcrawlers on the road after it rains.6 has lots of cuts from gill paltes on hands.7 doesn't have a clue how much milk or bread is but can tell you how much leeches are a pound within a 50 mile radius 8. thinks he can win the world record for launching a boat
Don't get me started.
Owns 75 Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops hats, Can't remember his wife's birthday, but knows the HP rating of just about every boat made, get's excited every time he drives over that last hill on his way to his favorite lake, almost enjoys the smell of 2 stroke exhaust, owns more pairs of waders and hip boots than dress shoes, his kids get more excited by the word walleye than by the word candy, knows what HPDI stands for, gets nostalgic driving through nisswa or walker...

the neighbor kids are always coming over and asking what kind of bait are you going to need next week.
Has one shelf in the freezer just for fishing line.
Tying spinner rigs is a family hobby.
Spends a ton of money on way more lawnmowing equipment than he actually needs because it cuts 20 minutes off his chore time...

...and they love to date cute gals with southern accents who like to fish without catching fish just to see and ask questions about all the "stuff" in your boat.
Ack.... I don't fit into 1,5,8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15 (should be 16)
and 16, (which should be 17) That's nine categories?????? I think I'm concerned?????????
You're close. A two car garage with the pickup and boat inside and the wife's car outside!!
Whose the lucky guy? I must be in the wrong part of the country! My wife loves to fish, but who has to put the leech or worm on her hook?
The boat trailer has shiney chrome steel wheels and the boat a fresh coat of wax, but the tow vehicle oil change is 30,000 miles overdue and hasn't been washed since the last time it rained :)

Ya, but it's a profile -- It hits the mode -- there are women drug couriers, too, but you don't find women in the DEA courier profile.
