I got a Lund 2025 with a merc 20o efi. With a 19 pitch high five stainless I am running 6000 rpms. Would a 21 or 23 pitch be better for this boat motor combo. Any advice would be extremely gratefull. Thanks, Walleye

When you ran your boat at 6000 RPM was that with it loaded or nothing in the boat like gas, batteries, livewell filled ect. the redline looks to be about 5750 so if you are running 6000 RPM a 21p would be nice. But again were you loaded or empty. I had a Lund 1900 with a 150 Yamaha that came with a 21p and it ran about 53 MPH at 5000rpm and when I loaded the boat I went down to 4400 rpm and about 45MPH and was sucking gas badly. I then went to a 19p and settled to a 17P which preformed to best with the way I ran my boat. I used to work at a marina and one day we took a boat out and tried bunch of props, stainless, aluminum and different pitch props on the same boat and the stainless ran the same speed as the aluminum on this boat. People will spend alot on a prop and they don't want to tell you it didn't make a difference. If you run in safe water a stainless would be nice. If you run on lakes like in Canada or rocky lakes run aluminum. Less damage to your lower unit.

The boat was fully loaded with two people and all their gear and a full gas tank. Tanx, Walleye

You cannot get enough bow lift with an aluminum for that 2025.
If aluminum props performed as well as a high performance stainless props, we would all save some money. But they don't on larger motors.
An aluminum will ventilate and over rev because it will not stay hooked up.
