Zach, you asked me what my point was, and I told ya. I didn't mention any names, nor did I use any language a four year old would find offensive. Must have just hit a little too close to home for someone. That's cool....Too many "Little Blue Men" for my taste.

Please repost it, I never saw it. The only people authorized to EVER remove a post from this board are Scott Golden and myself. I just called Scott and he has not removed anything. Niether have I.

If you and Scott are the only ones who moderate this board then why do Juls and TBO also show up with the "Little Blue Men" next to thier names?

I really don't care one way or the other on this matter but I do think there is some fishy things other than Walleye going on here.

Okay, here's my guess on the little blue men that have been popping up... We'll see how smart Sherlock Ness is. I'm guessing that the message board and the actual site are all one access.
I know, Juls has a page on here so in order to work on that page, she'd have to have authorization to get into the site, therefore her little Blue Man. I'm guessing that TBO also has a page or something so he has a little Blue Man access thingie...lol. So you see, Swat, it's not anything fishy except perhaps an honor system that someone isn't honoring?

Not quite right, but very interesting thought process. :-)
Actually, I have a little blue man thingy if I Log on as adman, or chatman. The little blue thingy is for those listed as moderators of the boards.

We have some "powers" But mostly we are extra eyes for Scott or Zach to see if something goes berserk or is waaay out of line. Scott has final authority.

The thought is more eyes watching for ther posts that are so far off the map as to anger everyone. Because people do not click the alert link and send an alert to Scott, posts that should be zapped (by everyones opinion) stay up too long.

No big brother type stuff. Just a few more pairs of eyes.

i have been on a few controversial threads and am surprised tbomn has the ability to zap a thread as he is very controversial himself...generally starts with a statement like bush supports a poor school system in texas and then praises the school system in minn....then if i make a statement about accountability in texas and how the school system where our children attended while in minn was terrible...i get slammed...and tbomn made the original slam against bush and texas schools...i am surprised he has this ability to zap a thread when he is very opinionated....scott on the other hand never seems to have the bias i see in tbomn...who still must think that separation of church and state meant to the founding fathers that church and religion should be kept out of gov't vs the opppsite intent of keeping govt out of the churches...steve

That was back in '99. Hmmm, it's now 2001. And, as I recall, I only deleted bashing, advertising, and vulgar language. I got called all kinds of names for doing what I was asked to do by Scott. People who hide behind their keyboards can be very cruel sometimes. I didn't want that job anymore, and I wouldn't want it back again. Thanks for bringing that up. End of conversation.
