I am interested in adding remote steering to my Lund Fisherman. Can anyone tell if the Panther Marine auxiliary unit is a good product? Thank you all for any advice you may offer me.

I don't own one but a friend I fish with does. He uses it on a 15 hp Merc kicker on a boat like yours and loves it. Can steer from anywhere in the boat and seems to work great. It's not cheap, however and is not money I would spend for my style of fishing but he swears by it.
