Anyone have any luck putting a pedestal mount on the rear deck of this boat.

Yes, the dealer installed a base on the driver's side left of where the livewell ends. He used one of those bases that's chopped off on one side (mostly round but then cut to fit a straight edge like the edge of a seat of something).
WAZ,
What prop are you running and do you have the 25" transom on the 202.
I've got a 225 Optima Max. Started with a 19"X14.5 aluminum that came with the motor. Not good. Hole shot not good, motor rated for 5750 rpm's still had about 1/2 inch on the throttle to go at 5750. Top speed on speedometer 54 mph. Switched to a 21"X13 vengance SS prop. Teribble hole shot. Maxed out at 5200 rpms. But it ran at 58-59 mph. Now I have a 19"X14 Vengance SS prop on. I'll try it this weekend and let you know how it works. What are you running and how is it working out. Also with the seat on the side of the livewell can the rear angler jig with two rods one one either side of the boat while sitting?
PS: I have a 25" transom. Sits alittle low in the water. I'd recommend a set of wavewackers or some similar splash guards.
