I'm mounting a new 65#/54" Autopilot on my '99 Sylvan 2000 Eliminator. The mounting area on this boat slopes down and away from center to the extent that the outside of the motor mount has to be raised about 1.5" - 2.0" to get the rig level, which is important with the auto-pilot. I don't want to just pile up a bunch of fender washers to level out. Before I get to work trying to make a decent mounting block from scratch--has anyone already done this and maybe provide me with the critical dimensions to get it squared up. Or does anyone make an aftermarket kit?
