I have a 74lb Maximum, and was out the other night and the directional arrow on top of the motor just like stopped. When I move the motor from side to side or where ever the directional arrow just stays put. Any suggestions, is this just a simple fix to do with the allen head screw down the shaft a ways? Thanks in advance.

When I increased my shaft length I looked into the indicator. It will just pop out of the socket. I beleive it moves in relation to the steering cabels. Pop it out and check it out it may have just come out of the grove. My maxium is 2 years old I dont think they have changed them any. The allen screws on the shaft dont pertain to the indicator. good luck
