Has any tried the Frog Toggs rainsuit. I see they have it in Cabelas for a around $60 for the whole suit. I am looking for a suit to take along to the BWCA and wondered how these really work?

Yes sir, I own two pairs. That's the going price. They work great. For warmer months they can't be beat. They are totally wind proof and water proof. Sometimes, in heavy downpours, the water gets in through the seems, but it was never a big problem for me. In heavy downpours I used to put two suits on and that did the trick.
For the money they are a great deal.

Based on several people recommending them on a post about a week ago, I bought a pair. Obviously, I can't speak to their long term durability, but I like them well so far (they are really light, but are an excellent windbreaker and keep out the rain well). If you're looking for a lot of pocket storage, they don't have it - at least not the style that I bought. No pockets in the jacket and two slits in the pants that go through to your regular pant pockets. If you want to see them in person before buying, they have a list of retailers on their web site - http://www.froggtoggs.com/
The seem kind of stiff when new, but soften up when you wash them.

No, I haven't washed mine. I should though...worm guts, and such. Becky, the mgr at the baitshop I work at has washed hers a couple of times now, and says they still work like they did when they were new. Her's are going on two years old now. I don't know if it is reccommended to put them in the dryer or not. I think I would just let them hang dry outside. I could be wrong though. Maybe there is a FAQ page on their site?

I've had a pair of Frogg Toggs for three years. The pullover jacket with the pouch in front comes in handy for me. They work great for windbreak and light rain. Wear it out golfing too, but if it rains hard they do leak by the seams and zipper areas (like Juls mentioned). I also have a set of Cabela's guidewear bibs and jacket which definitely keeps you dry in wet weather and long runs up the lake in rough water.

The care instructions are sewn on a tag on the inside - Hand or maching wash in cold water, drip dry.
