wondering if anyone else has had problem with poor ride w/ 619? I have a 2000 619 with 200hp opti max. at all speeds between planed out and wot the bow bounces as if it is falling off plane. The bouncing is worse with the livewells filled. I have tried several different props so far a tempest 21p and empty livewells have been the best solution so far. The motor is mounted in the second hole from the top. any sugestions ? poor ride is making me start to dislike the boat of my dreams.

Porpoising is caused due to the prop loosing it "bite" on/in the water. When its grabbing it lifts the bow, when it looses bite, the bow drops. You could try: less trim, lowering the motor on the transom or a 4-blade prop. All will help to some extent, but you will loose top-end speed. Have you contacted Ranger for their set-up recommendations?

This is not a charateristic of this boat. And we should get a dealer or a tech in it as soon as possible. Where did you buy the boat? And who is your dealer?
