Just wanted to let you know we made it out Saturday to try out all this new trolling gear and had a blast! Matt and I thought it might take some trial and error but we were onto fish before we got all 4 lines out.

It worked out great - the wind really would have made fishing in our normal spots difficult so we headed to the windswept bays and found the fish stacked up. We already learned to "read" the tattle flags thanks to large schools of white bass.

Only one tangle - much less than we expected and no snags. Only lost one shad rap - something large and toothy attacked the white bass attached to it on the retrieve.

We'll do some more experimenting this week - try some new colors etc. Thanks for all the help.

Is there a post where I can read that information? I found the one on harneses... is that it? I'm just getting into trolling myself. I've always drifted. Can you help me Juls?
Thanks ,
Bulldog

Hey Mike,
Glad to hear you were successful yesterday. Sounds like a great time was had by both of you.

By the time we get to go fishing together, your not going to need me to show you anything anymore...sounds like you got it all figured out! Very Cool..;-)

Thanks for the report!
