i have a little 6hp suzuki kicker this last weekend i had no power when it was in gear it sounded like it was running on 1 cyl. and then the second cyl would kick in on and off but when its in neutral its running on both and revs up fine but in gear it wont open up all the way ? thanks for any help here Hooked
I just had a similar problem on my 30 HP, four stroke Suzuki this past weekend. Everything was working fine until I hit a big wake. Immeadiately the motor would not rev above 3000 while in gear and sounded like it was choking on it's fuel. With the motor was running slowly in gear, I pulled the choke knob out and pushed it back in before the motor died. That seemed to clear everything up and the motor ran fine after that.
