if you could take an all expense paid walleye fishing trip anywhere in the world where would you go?

I would spend 3 days in the fall on Erie, Port Clinton, 3 days on the reservoir at Ft. Peck and then finish with 3 days on Mille Lacs.

A week at L.O.T.W., from Sept. 28th thru Oct.8th, at Morris point gap, a foot off the bottom with a ping 1/4 to 3/8 oz pink jig tipped with a minnow.

I would like to try that Zander in Europe or any Canadian Fly-in.

25 Years ago I lived in Akron, Ohio and would like to go back to Erie someday. When I lived there the Cayohoga caught fire and the lake was in really bad shape. Judging by all the posts on WC throught the years, it appears that Erie has changed a lot.

But nothing beats the cabin on Opener, Eh?

mmmmm.....Zander....
That sounds cool as heck...walleye-looking-creatures with teeth like muskie:)
I guess the stocked some lakes over in the Dakotas with em, but there are very few left now. Maybe Backwater Eddy could enlighten us.

I would like to have a two week walleye fishing trip in January off the Kona coast in Hawaii. We could be trolling cranks for walleyes and if all we caught were "rough fish" like blue marlin or yellowfin tuna, I guess we would just have to go in and sit on the beach and catch some rays. I wonder what the state record walleye in Hawaii is?
