Problem.
I'm using the x-15 accessories package and trying to type my LMS 350A cooridnates into the data base. All my old LMS cooridnates are in the form degrees/minutes (example 46 24 .915)
The Accessories wants it in degrees/minutes/seconds. When I type the example into the data base it tells me that 91 is to large for a second (must be <= 60) .

How can I change the mode to accept my old form?????

OR suggestions.......
I have 150-200 cooridinates in my little book. Whats the best way to get them in there. I don't want to have to type them in by hand every time I change boats.

Thanks

I realize I can transpose all of the cooridinates with my calculator. It's just that I'm too lazy to do it with all those cooridinates. And mostly, I can't believe that Lowrance would change to a new format for their softeware when the x-15 instruction booklet shows the cooridnates in the old format.

There must be a simple solution.

sorry

Go to the GPS set-up (i believe that what it's called) then look at gps entry types and you should have an option of the entry type.

I saw it on my X-16 but didn't need to change it.

What an awesome unit! Have you tried it yet?

Most of my 120 waypoints from the 350a are already in the mapping software(not as waypoints but as icons for lights, harbors, bouys, islands, etc.) so there was no need to enter most of them. I can't imagine what I'll use all those available waypoints for with this unit other than to set up trails.

I played around with the software though and it appeared very easy to find your coordinates and just click your waypoints in on your computer with the mouse. Then upload to the media card and then to your x15. There are probably even easier ways if you look around.

Yes, Eric it is an awesome unit now, I wasn't so sure a week ago, though. What I'd really like to see are some less expensive contour maps.
