Looking for ideas on something simple to attach to my 8ft VHF antenna to help read wind direction. What have you used?

For starters, don't attach anything to your antenna.

Even if can support the weight and windload, you will farkle the SWR of the antenna.

These two know a knew kind of klanguage kthat I khave knever kheard of.LOL
I'd use a plastic clip with a very light streamer non conductive.

It may or may not mess it up try it and find out.
