These have been a number of inquiries . . .
We'll be able to take registrations until the Wednesday before the tournament, May 16.
Total entries are up to 130 as of this afternoon.
Boat numbers will be assigned randomly (Except for VIPs) this Thursday, May 10. They will posted on Walleye Central/MWC page shortly thereafter.

HOW MANY PLACES DO YOU PAY WITH 130BOATS ANS HOW MUCH IS FIRST PLACE.

In my travels with Kaz during his last year, anglers did indeed sign up at the last minute, with anglers signing up at the rules meeting.
Last year, Wildlife Forever's first year, entries were taken until a few days before the tournament day. It's similar this year, as in my previous post about a week ago, we'll be able to take entries up until I have to cut the checks which is usually Wednesday or Thursday before the Tournament.
Similarly, that is the the last day to drop out of a tournament and get your entry fee refunded (less the $50).
It really doesn't matter when the cut of day is because Wildlife Forever can't win either way. Anglers such as yourself complain about it being open too long, and others complain that there aren't enough boats in the field.
Between the two, I prefer to have more boats, a bigger payout and more conservation dollars.

The payout is to 17.5% of the field, rounding down.
As to the dollar figures, when entries close I'll calculate it all out. I expect we'll see another 10 - 20 entries.

I couldn't agree more pw, people will complain about anything. I do not see a problem with taking entries until the last minute. More money for the winners!!! I don't know about anyone else but I am really sick of all the negativity I hear all the time. If you don't like it, don't fish it!!! As far as the other 99% of the anglers, good luck and kick a-- out there. Thanks for the updates, keep them coming.
