Anyone been fishing Nelson Lake in Hayward?

Has anyone been fishing nelson lake? my dad and i fished there but didn't do well on the walleyes, anyone know where they are?

I fished there Saturday with a kid who failed to bring enough clothes so he had to borrow the old man's. I nearly froze to death. My son lost the only beautiful walleye at the boat. Weather was tough, nearly got blown away. My fishing partner was pretty good company but wouldn't let me go warm up and made me keep handing him minnows so he wouldn't get his hands wet.

Can't wait to do it again next weekend. See you soon son!

Sounds like you guys aren't really concerned with catching any fish. Enjoy the company more. Nate my Father spends most of his time in Florida and when I fish with him, Its "Cut more squid up kid" Good Luck.
