I have a 1995 120HP Foce OB on my boat and I took it out the other day after the mechanic did his thing and I could not start the engine or keep the engine running. If I pressed in the trottle button on the gear shif to take it out of gear, it would start and stay running but as soon asI put the gear in neutral it would stall out. Any idea what causes this?

Also, I have a 6 gallon gas fuel tank for my kicker and when I not using it I keep it locked up in my cuddy and it stay there for weeks at a time without no one looking at it because the boat isn't being used. Could this be a potential dangerous problem?

I'd keep it some place else not so enclosed. You're flirting with disaster otherwise. As for the motor that is a pre-mix model I believe. You might want to check the mixture and you may need a carb kit if it didn't get fogged good enough during the off season. As for the cuddy you don't sleep in there do you.

Chuck,

Thanks for your answer. No I don't sleep in the cuddy. Couldn't I just leave the fuel tank on the deck on the fantail?
