How tough a job is it to install a Merc, 9.9 kick with electric starter and remote control box. Is something that most person with any kind of skills can do. Or should you just leave it to the dealer to install.

I installed my Bigfoot 9.9 and tied it into my big motor to steer with. It was easy once I had help getting the motor on theboat in the right place I wanted it. As for the remote control- can't help there. Save some money and install the motor yourself and if the remote part is tuff let the dealer do that. JJ
