i heard the other day on tv about somethng with setting the grayline so you get two readings?? does this make sense to anyone? i just caught the last part of the show and was wondering what this was all about. also, those of you with X85's: what do you usally keep your sensitivity at? i have found the best at 70-78, but i guess it differs with water clarity etc.
thanks

I fish primarily in stained to fairly clear and in the stained I usually keep the sens on around 60-62 and in the clearer water I put it at 67-70 the gray I keep on about 32.

On any give day the sittings can change. Due to a lot of differnet reasons, ie...tempeture, debris in the water.ect.. What you probably caught the tail end of was, turn the sensitivty up till you get 2 bottom readings. This means that you are using the sensitivity at it best performance sort of specking. Down to about 34-40 ft of water your grey line should be around 16-32...hope that helps.
