Kicker installation

Do I need another battery for my remotely controlled, electrically started kicker?
The installation manual does only mention a two battery installation.
I will not run the main engine at the same time as the kicker.
I don't see a problem, but is there one?

No problem using one battery. In fact, if your kicker is a four-stroke, you want the kicker hooked up to your main starting battery so the alternator can charge it while you troll. If you want a 2 battery setup, you would benefit most by hooking up all your electronics to the second battery to isolate them from any possible interference from your motors.
