Curious about your views. Are these widely used during open-water season, or are they primarily for ice fishing?
Are they widely used by tournament participants?

I have a catch cam and love it for checking the species of fish. You may mark a ton and when you look they are suckers or whitefish.
As far as if they can be used in a touney that may differ for different organizations. State law is usually the rules in prefishing but during the touney any rules can apply.
My wife really is not interested in fishing but boy she will run that camera all day which suits me fine. The problem is she may see something on the bottom she wants. LOL
And I may go swimmin.
