I looked at this reel and thought it was a beautiful reel. It has 10 BB and is smooth as silk. Any pros or cons??? Is it worth $55.

I bought two of them this spring. I have used them about 7 times and have only found one thing I don't like. The handle seems to work loose on both of them. You have to take the cap off one end and then tighten the screw underneath it. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. I guess I could use something on the screw threads to keep this from happening but haven't tried that yet. Other than that, I am happy with the reels. They are smooth and the drag works properly. I also like the foldable handle. It makes for easier storage.

I have used a couple of the Libra 2500's. They are as smooth as silk and haven't found any problems with them. If you wonder if it is worth $55, where can you find a reel with 10 ball bearings along with ball bearings under the line guide, stainless steel covers, stainless steel spool lips, titanium plated, instant anti-reverse, and computer balanced rotor to reduce vibration. Any other reels of this value would be worth $100 - $150. TICA's main objective is to sell a high quality product at a reasonable price.
