I am planning to fish walleyes on vacation on big stone lake and would appreciate any help on how to do this in june. I hear that there are a lot of good sized fish, is this true?

In June its going to be hot , so I think your best bet would be to pull plugs until you find some fish , if you can get around the islands, then if you find fish you can stop and jig or just pull plugs .

There should be pretty substantial weed growth by then. I've had good luck pulling bouncers with spinners. On the weed edges, channels and any deeper structure you can find(deep is a relative term). Sometimes crawlers and somethimes leeches. There are some nice eyes out there. No shortage of white bass either.
