I am looking to buy a new Lund ProV 1775 with a 150 HP engine. My question is this, how fast will this boat go (GPS), assuming it's rigged with a stainless steel prop? The local dealer is telling me 52 to 55 mph, is that accurate?

I would'nt worry to much about top end I get 55GPS with a 175hp on a 1890le and you would be eating my wake. Nice boat and everything but you are more than likely looking at 45-48 depending on the prop. One more note if you know where you're going it does'nt matter that much how faster you get there. Good luck.

I think your dealer is about right. Your boat is a little narrower than mine and depending upon how much you and your gear weigh, I'd say it'll do 52MPH at least at the high end. My rig fully loaded weighs about 2200lbs.

I have a 1775 w/ an Optimax 135. I run a 19" LazerII at 5400 rpm. My hand held GPS has me at 47mph w/ my wife and full gear.
Your dealer is correct. Expect to get 52-53 at WOT when propped correctly.
