I am rigging a '99 60hp Merc 2-stroke on a '96 1650 Crestliner Fishhawk SC. What can I expect for speed? The the dealer could only give me speed on a 50hp Johnson, which was 33mph.
Thanks, 'eye spy

I would say 30 to 32 gps. I have a 1750 fishawk with a 70 hp and get 31 to 33 gps but my speedometer reads 35 to 38. I would suspect your dealer gave you speedometer numbers which are usually generous.
Of course it will depend greatly on how heavily you are loaded.

My last boat was a 1650 FishHawk with a 70hp Johnson on it. With just me and my gear and a full tank I could get 36mph on the GPS W.O.T. and fully trimmed up. JS

I had a 1996 1650 Fish Hawk with a 60 hp Johnson that had a
top speed of 32 mph (gps) with a full tank of gas and 2 150
pound guys.
I liked the boat.

I have a 2000 model year Fish Hawk 1750 with side counsel and run a 60 4-stroke Mercury. With a 12 pitch stainless, my top speed is 32 on a GPS. This is with boat loaded and total passenger weight of 300#'s.
