This message is for anyone considering buying a Fisher boat. Don't do it they are Junk. Last night out on Lake Michigan in 160 ft of water I turn My bilge on like I always do to see if I have taken on any water. To my suprise the bilge ran for a minute which was way to long so I opened my floor compartment to find water all the way up to the floor. I feared for me and my partners life. I was not sure if the bilge would keep up with this nasty leak or not. Luckly it did and we made it in safely. This was a 2000 19ft Pro Avenger. This was my second boat, Fisher replaced my boat last year for the same problem. I have talked to 2 other people I have met a launches 1 guy was on his third boat and the other was on his second boat like I was. If anyone is considering a Fisher boat spend the extra money and buy a Lund. Think of me why you are out fishing because I'm sure I won't be out for quite some time.

Me too. I'm on my second Hawk 170 SC and it already has some problems in the transom area where it looks like the deck is separating from the transom. Theses boats look nice on the showroom floor, but I'm starting to think they don't belong on the big water. This particular boat I've got now has only seen about 8 trips out on Erie and it's already starting to fall apart. I'll probably end up without a boat all this Fall again. Fisher sucks.

I had the same problem with a Spectrum Pro Avenger, made by Fisher. I solved the problem. The fatory replaced my 9 month old Spectrum with a new Fisher, since they no longer made Spectrum, I did not even put it in the water. I took it back to dealer I bought it from, even though they no longer sell the Fisher brand due to all the quality and customer service problems, and traded it for a new Lund. I hope other can learn form our experiences.
