I have one. What are you specifically interested in finding out?

My buddy has one and I have a 2000 Mr. Pike 17. The front casting platform on his boat isn't as big, but I think it's big enough to live with. He has a 90 Merc on it and it seems to move pretty good. He uses it on Lake Michigan and Winnebago and it takes the big water pretty well.

Tom, Was wondering about speed with a 90 merk. and how well it rides in rough water. Also would like to know where you put your batteries,in the floor behind the front deck or in the front. Thanks

I have the 2001 with a 100 yami four stroke. Just a great boat rides any wave smooth . I get about 38 mph with two and tackle. The batteries are in the floor by the drivers seat and in the forward casting platform. I call it the poor mans pro v it looks just like a pro v. It is the best outfit a guy could have. I would go a 100 or 115 if I were you.

I use a 42 lb thrust 12 volt works very well. I know it is 100 in Canada but it is 115 in U.S. The 17 is 115 in Canada but 135 in U.S I think.I was on Last Mountain to day gust at the 50 km no problem. It was so rough it broke the transducer holder off the boat it was as smooth as could be I just love this outfit. The ips hull makes it just a very dry boat.

I have a 90 Mercury 2 stroke as a matter of fact. Calm conditions, perfect trim, myself and a 14 year old=41 mph on both gps and console speedometer. Rides fine, but, I do not really hammer it more than 15/18 mph in waves-to much pounding for a 16 footer.Let me know if you any more info. I also have an 8hp Yamaha four stroke kicker which I really like on this rig.
