So often the board is used to discuss problems, or warn/vent about things that go wrong. This is an important and valuable function, but it is also nice sometimes to be able to pass along a compliment and words of thanks.
I am pleased to be able to do this today. Proline Sports in Saskatoon, especially Bruce Clark, have gone above and beyond the call for me.
It started with a Sunday morning phone call to Bruce (at his home), saying the power lift on my Yamaha motor didn't work. He walked me through the manual lift process, as I had no idea how.
Then, I informed him that I needed, needed, needed the boat fixed by Friday. Although he didn't have the part in stock, he ordered it on an emergency basis, and got it air couriered to his shop in 4 business days - no easy task given recent events.
I dropped my boat off this morning, and he said, I'll have it done in half an hour. How lucky could I be?
My trip this weekend is saved, and even if they don't read this, or you don't know who they are, I wanted to say THANKS! With service like this, my next motor will again be a Yamaha, and it'll come from Proline.
derrek.
