I was wondering if you guys had some neat ideas for getting old boat registration stickers off of a painted aluminim boat? Normally I would just put the new one over the old one. But the new sticker is half the size of the old one.

a good thing to use is a heat gun,or if you dont have access to one,a hair dryer works good.to remove the glue,use wd-40,enamel thinner.
There is a product called Lift Off, it is made for removing adhesives and gum, I work at a school and use this stuff all the time. You should be able to find it at Fleet, Wal-mart, the usual places and I saw it at Office Max too. It really works good on adhesive and is also a good bug and tar remover.
